Week of July 10th, 2006

Hello America, This week I’d like to give you my two cents worth on the “State of the Coin Market”, there are those who say “we are in a hot, hot, hot market” and then those who say, “Watch out the market will collapse soon”.

One who studies the history of rare coins "booms and busts" can come to those conclusions just by historical facts and I can understand that. However, one must look beyond that. As a Coin Dealer who has been doing sales on the internet since 1995 being absolutely one of the very first to do so I have a completely different perspective on this subject.

My feelings are that “We haven't seen Nothing Yet” Basically with the internet still in it’s infancy and thousands of new people being introduced to it each and every day, we have hardly scratched the surface. Now it's true that all aren’t going to be coin collector/investors but just take a tiny percentage of those numbers being introduced to rare coins and watch out...as I said before “You haven't seen Nothing Yet”. Just in our experience alone, so many new people have bought coins from us and the number grows every week.

So As far as I’m concerned throw out all the old interpretations of what has been and what will happen. We are in a new world of Global communications for the Masses and the sky is the limit. Being an astute investor will pay off handsomely by making the right moves.

Well that is my interpretation of the "State of the Market", having the www experience that most coin dealers don’t have along with a stellar record for rarities sold. I would appreciate any feed back on this subject. Have a great week ahead and I hope you find the coin of your dreams.
