FUN SHOW ORLANDO 2012

ARC attended the FUN show in Orlando and again we have experienced the coldest winter days of the year...in sunny Florida!  Something about coins and Florida equates to cold weather, on Tuesday of this week you saw people in ski parkas.  Thankfully by the time Saturday rolled around the weather was a balmy 75 degrees again.

What an amazing show we had, we saw many of our dearest clients and met some new ones as well.  We haven't been to a major show in probably 2 years that was as well attended as this one.  The aisles were packed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday!  Most dealers did a brisk business both buying and selling and found the market better than expected.  The coin market seems to be perking up and we couldn't be more pleased.  The Heritage auctions brought some staggering numbers which is an indicator of better days ahead.  

As you know most coins have dropped in value (there are a few exceptions) in the last couple of years and it has caused real problems for the marketplace.  Since great coins have stayed in collector's hands we have struggled to find enough PQ and special coins for our clients.  Please take a look at our website later this week as we put new coins on the site.  We are very pleased to present some very special beauties for you to admire.  We are offering a nice collection of Morgan Dollars in affordable grade levels and a couple of spectacular Lincoln cents (1911-D and 1909-s/s) We will spotlight some gorgeous silver commemoratives and Saint Gaudens that are a great value at this time.
